I've got some kit up for sale on here and I've had a reply from a newbie with zero posts who's only just joined.

I could really do with the cash from the sale but I'm not too happy dealing with someone like this.... :hmm:

What do you think, folks, how should I deal with it??

Cheers.

I'd ask for payment first. If you're buying something from an online shop you've got to hand over your wedge first anyway. When buying, I personally wouldn't buy anything from a member on here I hadn't seen enough of round the forum.

if anything, he has to trust you, more than you trust him

anyone selling items would first recieve payment before sending goods, so he has to trust you'll send them

Thanks for all the replys.

Problem is it's a gun and I'll only deal face to face with something like that. If it was via paypal, I'd have no issues but it's not.

get him to send a crossed postal örder...then its only you that can cash it...

then send it in the post rmsd for 21 bucks and he gets the gun the next day

I know what you mean but I won't send a gun through the post to someone I don't know. Think I'll leave it.

Just because someones been on a forum for a short while doesn't make them trustworthy and if its a firearm send it to his local dealer

Muppet?? OK....

It's only an airgun and maybe it's just me being funny but I just don't feel happy sending a gun to someone I don't know from Adam.
