huddies 1
Went out for a few hours on my permission on the last 2 nights, the owner has a lot of trouble with rabbits causing his horses problems out in the field , I can only go there at night when the horses are in the stables so time is limited, However its lovely wandering around on my own, sitting laying and watching what is about,On the first night i managed to bag 9 bunnies and saw a vast amount of wildlife, dear fox and something i guessed was a badger but now after seeing the badger again last night i am unsure. It had a fawn/tan sort of coat very short legs and a long tail with a distinct round black short face. Last night i saw a dozen Roe and fallow dear mainly Doe's ,1 Muntjac, 1 definate Badger, 3 foxes, i will try to get some pics of them next time as they go about there life. i then sat and had a coffee before setting off for the rabbits. It took about 2 hrs to get the 7 pictured, could have taken more but still need to improve standing and sitting stances, the land is very open the rabbits seem to know where they can get to so as to be just out of range, or beyond long grassy patch,s , still 7 is better than nothing, there is a long way to go as i saw a lot of them about in the summer evenings before we sorted out the permission. he's just glad its getting sorted i think. i took one picture not the best next time hopefully some wildlife pics to show too, I'll be back there after the weekend. And being Equestrian he has electric fence and wire all over the place, great in the dark. Edited October 14, 2010 by huddies 1 Quote Link to post

Sweeney-Todd 208
Hi Huddies. Good post mate, and nice bag and shooting too. Wonder if what you saw was a Mink, Stoat or Weasle? A Weasle is wasily wecongnised, where as a stoat is stoataly different. Bill. Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Nice going for the time spent I've shot on land that has fry wires about but never had the mossfortune to make contact with it The land owners son on the other hand and he knew it was there :11: Apparently if you grab it and hold on its not so bad, its the slight touch that hurts Phantom Quote Link to post
