beddylurcher 70 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Share Posted October 13, 2010 hi all, i dont no what to do, my beddy whippet snaped its dew claw yesterday it lookes realy bad to me. i rang the vets and they just said it will be ok just bath him in salt water and put a bandage on it. i dont no what to do. it dont realy seem to be bothering him but im worying about it. thanks andy. Guest chook Posted October 13, 2010 Report Share Posted October 13, 2010 If the dogs not bothering about it, then keep it clean - leave it to dry out once the quick has recided, snip it off, my bitch was snapping her's couple of times a year, at 40 odd quid a time at the vets, just to snip it off, i started doing myself, much easer and cheaper and less stress on the dog.
