oakey 57
While mud tyres are the best in the mud do you find them noisy on the road ? Im thinking about getting some for my disco yet so far i havnt managed to get it stuck so i was wondering weather they are worth it .Also i dont fancy taking a legal tyre off just so i can have 4 the same so can you mix road tyres back mud tyres front ? IanB 0
I leave BF Muds on mine all the time... Not bad at all.
longman29 3
from personel experiance i would buy the bf's everytime, quiet on the road, good road manners, great in the slippy stuff and will last alot longer than the cheaper muds on the market

andyfr1968 772
I'd used the BFG muds for a long time and really rate them. That said, the last time my Toyota needed tyres I was a bit skint and ended up with a set of Marshal muds and I've got to say they're at least as good as the BF's off road and much better on the road especially when it's wet, more like an AT than a mud and nearly half the price of the BF's too... Edit to say.... I don't think the mileage will be great as they seem to be a fairly soft compound but I'll happily trade that for the price and the extra on-road grip.
