Aye.

To be fair mate, most of them are the same. Once its past warranty they don't want to know you unless you want a shiny new one.

How much will you be for a new engine? 2k plus I would immagine.

Really bad luck. I ended up selling my van as a non runner because I didn't want to be majorly out of pocket for a new engine.

Think you can pick up engines for around 1500 but i wont be bothering, i'll be selling it as a shell and let somebody have a little project.

what year is it i want one?

WARNING TO ALL..........NEVER BUY A NISSAN, THEY HAVE KNOWN ENGINE FAULTS AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN HELPING YOU OUT WHEN YOUR ENGINE FAILS. DO NOT BUY A NISSAN :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

I know where you are coming from,i payed 12k for a 2yr old one a while back with 28k on the clock..it was never hammered and serviced every 6k miles..when it hit 90k on the clock the engine went bang, nissan where total wankers and because i did not keep my service history up with the rip of pricks they said it was my fault, :censored: , after endless emails i got no further foward and had to bite the bullet and sell it for £2500, ,the lads who bought it said they where making a living out of repairing them as they is that many going bang,my only advice to anyone who owns one IS get the bottom end beefed up now otherwise you will regret it and be badley out of pocket.

Exactly the same here. Cause mine was 8 years old there were not interested. Although i know for a fact that they just replaced an engine on 83k miles under a month ago for somebody i know, they were not interested in that either. I will be telling everyone i know from now on to keep away from Nissans unless they are a mechanic.
