thats hunting pal.. You have a car, you'l just have to keep at it. The problem you have, is that you only have a small dog, so turning to other game isnt an option..And with all this mixi about the country, plus the harsh winter, it is a big struggle to get on many rabbits..

As for dogs not getting enough work. I can honestly say that mine get enough, and sometimes more than enough but its all about the effort your willing to put in to it pal. Money, driving, time, running risks, etc..

Get on the mororway and drive.... get a partner to scan good looking areas, get off the motorway, and look... you will get a run.!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and also for not having a big old war of words like so many other subjects on this site.

Thanks for the PMs

so far..i have a few offers for a few places...most of them very long way to travel...one a ferry..hehee.

Its such a shame the way things are...If i had one of them big bullXs i would have lots of sport...but i really don't have any interest at all in that game.

I think that the way things are going..Were gonna have to pay to hunt bunnies, like they pay to Fish,or Shoot etc etc.

there's one or 2 chances yet for me to keep going and not give up.I will not ever stop trying. Its my mission.LOL.

Mate..i have done more miles than you would know...i've been all over. had a few decent nights last winter jumpin out of car in some dodgy areas..but that's not what im after these days.

i want to walk the land and have a good night...permission on a decent place. that's my next ambition in life.LOL.

I have done so many trips out of town to diff places..some very tricky spots..and still seen very little.

My mates have a £50 bet running against me and my dog... its not funny now...heheee.. starting to get me down..LOL.

your lucky if you can go out and give your dogs regular good nights.

Similar story near me. No Bunnies. I'm not interested in anything bigger. I almost feel sorry for the dogs, they don't know we will not be seeing anything worth a chase, but they still give 100% in looking though. I'ts just a walk at the moment.

For some people i dont think its quite as easy, if your working 5 days a week, without money you cant do anything so it has to come first! Some people are lucky enough to put there sport first, i dam wish i could, most are married with kids, and there wife's dont go out with them! Personally i think he's a tad unlucky doing all this and finding time to travel the country looking for rabbits! All i can say is its a hard life for some and easy for other's! I dont know your area but you would be looking at 600 mile round trip to get near us were there's quite a few about!

your right there ...you wanna try telling the wife you've been out all night and got nothing to show for it..she thinks I'm bullshitting and going off with another woman.LOL.

I work like the rest of us..but i do very little and only usually work 3 nights a week.so the rest of the time is free for fun,Obviously after family life.

its a shame i cant enjoy a local walk like some of the others on this site.

thanks for your very kind offer...you never know.. i might have a trip one day.

we can go out one night and catch nothing at all and be out for hours then another night we could just go 50yards and get something, just your luck mate.

i can remember two of us clocked over 110 miles and seen absolutly nothing, it was a great night weatherwise aswell. we have it hard up our way mate, you have to put in alot of miles per night.

Reel ya neck in a bit mate, although I haven't met the bloke he's answered a few questions for me in the past and is one of the people on here that I would trust. If he were dodgy there would not have been so many offering him help, that's for sure, because people like that soon get found out.
