cunninghamb 2
You can still snare along fence line's as long as a snared fox can't get tangled up in it i.e the big gaps in a ri-lock fence, you can however snare along a fence line(or us a wire midden) if its made from chicken wire (so he cant get tangled up) and if its high enough so that when snared the fox can't get himself over it or tangled up in it and then be suffocated. Hope this is of help But if in doubt always check the latest snaring laws as the seem to be changing all the time right now... Quote Link to post

malantone 1
hi all, not been on this forum before. ive been reading a few threads that ive found interesting. was just wondering what a stink midden is, and the purpose for having one. is the purpose of it so you can catch foxes from it? the stink pit is as the name, a pile of very attractive extreemley smelly meat, be that bodies of foxes or other animals, guts from pheasants chickens etc the aim as you have gathered is to snare foxes attrected to the `midden` Quote Link to post
