Net making again

Recommended Posts

I've made two hemp nets with single knots and alot of the nets are slipping. I've made a third with double knots but obviously it takes longer and surely I should only have to used a single. Could this be down to my 'hemp' being shit or something? I am pulling the knots tight but they just slide about when I pull them.

Cheers, Aaron.

I've had a look mate but how do u incorporate that into a net. Any videos? Cheers mate

Yes on your first post

Its used to make your 1/2 meshes on the meshboard just as you have been doing but this knot tightens literally by itself no need to pull and pull it

No disrespect mate but hemp is the typical beginners material, you shouldn't be suffering from slipping knots .My guess is ,altho you think you're pulling the knots tight, you're just being too nice with it ;) Don't be shy with it, give the fecker a good ol' tug  There's no need for double or even different knots with hemp, just got to show it who's boss :victory:
