The D3 would be out by about 0.2 but that reading on your box is out by a full meter so that is pretty far out for such a good bit of kit, may be worth checking if you fell the need to do such a thing......which you probably dont! lol

I think the finer points of depth and its lack of is lost on FTB.By the way ,a metre is a yard and 3 inches if we are splitting hairs .A reading of 2.1 that was really 3 1/2 foot would be cause for celebration on the rock we have to contend with in places .Dont let it stop you posting though mate ,just dont mention the depth .

Rather splitting hairs, but I think you will find it IS working in metric....it wouldnt be calibrated in any other way

Aye it was an alright post. But uploading those pics took feckin ages and it will be my last.

I appreciate the constructive advice, but the smarmy comments by people who think they are better than you after never meeting you really go over me. Can't understand it.

 

I have used that box on dozens of digs without a single blip and will continue to do so.

 

Try not to get too hung up on the nitty gritty and enjoy working your dogs and sharing your experiences.

I always treat other people as I wish to be treated myself.

Good post mate and if your haveing fun and your gear works for you thats all that matters.A think the diffrent collers are whats getting folk confused ,I use the barryvox with the bellman coller and its spot on {the readings are in meaters}.
