Young Sprocker Six Month Old

Took the young Sprocker out today for the first time with the 510.The dog has only been trained on dummies.So was not expecting much.After sitting for half an hour..Nailed a squirrel.The little bitch seen it falling.So i let her go.after about four mins i was thinking shit.I put the gun down and took of to help her find it.As i stood up(RESULT) she came over the small hill dragging it by the front leg and dropped it at my feet.After another have hour with nothing moving.I took her into the fIeld for a few small retrieves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two out off three aint bad.

that could off went wrong its only a young dog if the you had only injued it could bited the dog then the next time you send it for a retrieve it woulded want to pick it up start it on cold game pheasants rabbits

I cant see your point mate its not my first spaniel.The squirrel was dead leaving the tree.I have trained dogs before.Plus a little bite on the nose will do it no harm.It is going to be used for bushing.atb. Catcher.
