Casso 1,261
Wonder if these dogs knew they werent supposed to do this cuz they werent hungry. It would have been damn hard for them to be hungry considering they are on self feeders right now but I can still take them out and kill just about whatever I want with them. I remember back when I was an athlete, people used to preach alot of shit to me that didnt know sheep shit from apple butter but I clung to the men that did and ended up doing things that most couldnt ever fathom. I stick to those in the know and not somebody who read some bullshit book. Dan im not asking you to believe me, i've just seem to be defending myself on this thread, im not bothered if no one believes a word,,what i will say is, i dont go round with my eyes wide shut,,i question the why all the time, and never came up with answers till i started looking at things from a different angle,, Debate is great, and different ideas are welcome , if it helps to understand people make their own mind on things ,its all there for everyone to see,,if you got all the answers already dan thats fine, but i dont,, I do know what sheep shit is,,the dog eats enough of it,,but apple butter is a new one on me Which ever way you run your dogs dan enjoy them,,because theyre the only reason we're on this site in the first place,,best of luck,, Quote Link to post

Guest vin
always feed mine just before bedtime...couple of tasty treats during daytime on the odd occasion. never anything before night out. But when i go running myself ( keeping fit etc etc ) if i go running on an empty stomach with just a little water etc etc I can run fine for my usual 5K ... But if i have a small bowl of porridge or a banana for breakfast before I run.. it really does seem like I can go a lot further and a lot easier,It does give me extra energy.I have tried this many times because I never usually eat breakfast before running. I have often wondered if the dog would run better with just a little bit extra inside..only a little bit of something that gives the same energy as a banana..etc etc. It must be a very fine line between hunger and discomfort, because halfway through my run when i have skipped breakfast I do genuinely feel tired and all i think about is what I'm going to eat when i stop running. my dogs don't get enough work to worry about them being exhausted... there's not enough bunnies nr me for that.
