festa 206
hi lads well for the 1st time in a very long time the weatherman was fecking right !!! the idea was check the weather before we head out then pick or permission so anyway 21.00 wor kid arrives at mine and the weather was pretty much the same as it had been all day foggy and wet ... so a quick check on the weather and or biggest permission and wind gusting up to 27mph and rain .so i said why dont we just go up to our local 1 instead wor kids says aye could do BUT the weatherman is never right we could miss a good night (he had points in his eyes) lol so he twisted my arm and off we went 1 hour-ish later we arrived and the weatherman was spot on 27 to 30 mph winds and drizzle (note to self take no notice of wor kid) anyhow we get the gear out and just over the small paddock (about 25mtrs) was the 1st one of the night wind was blowing from the right so 3 mil dots across and MISS i might as well just shot the the opp direction lol it was going to be a hard night to say the least i went around the top field plenty bunnies but far to windy you dropped to the kneeling postion and it was that strong you thought someone was trying to push you over ...(so i made a quick retreat to the barn) and left wor kid to it he managed 1 hare and very quickly followed me for some feral bashing ... where we bagged 14 (7 each) and we thought that was it so we grabbed a couple hours sleep before our feral bash part 2 ... 3 hours later we wake and go and check the other barn not 1 feral in site so we took the pic and packed up on the way home we decided to check some other barns about 1 mile down the road and the same not ferals home but wor kid managed another bunny so in total i had 7 ferals and wor kid got 1 hare 1 bunny and 7 ferals ... wor kids hare (friday night) followed by his (saturday morning) bag my little bag then the saturday group shot we also got close to 2 more bunnys but the guns were packed in the back just as well lol atb gary atb gary Edited October 9, 2010 by festa 2 Quote Link to post

Not sure of all the details myself as I don't take part, PM Daryl, Gary, Rob or Davy for proper details, think the comp is run from Robs Board Phantom Quote Link to post
