I can see that you will have a few problems with your set up mate I'm sure you will let me know if I'm wrong. 15mm post a bit thick (11/12mm would be better)very hard to push into all ground but easily overcome by sharpening to a long narrow point. Each post is 15" to long and as your mate says multiplyed by 21 will be heavy. All my nets are 14" high when set and I haven't seen a bunny go over one yet so 2ft max. Stainless as you say will make a noise at night, wont give and will kink.God forbid falling on one. Hope this helps P1. Quote Link to post
Fat-Ferret 857
I would say fibreglass is the best...But thats just my opinion...21 poles is a lot for a 100yrd net, I think the most one of mine has is 14. I have used 9.5mm for a long time, light and strong. But whatever suits you is best Edited October 8, 2010 by Fat-Ferret Quote Link to post

Hi mate, i made the poles that long because of the ground we were working at the time, north york moors ground was very soft. i used 15mm cause i got a shed load at a good price. i sharpen them with my bench grinder to a good point so they go in the ground quite well for the thickness. i did look at the poles dillan had found £1.50 each sounds a fair price, still more expensive than the stainless but i think its not the way forward now. thanks for all the advice guys.
