Ideation 8,216
Its the Kung Bushmen in the Kalahari that are the main group that do this, and it has continued since the very beginnings of their society, it's the oldest method of hunting in the world. They are a fascinating people with many physical adaptations to where they live and despite living in one of the most inhospitable places they have an amazing social structure and great social unity. I was lucky enough to study them for a bit (as an anthropologist) and made an attempt to learn their 'click' based language - which was nuts. They are absolutely amazing and i cannot recommend spending time with them enough.
