shepp 2,285
I just wondered what coat would be good to go for? I want to spend up to £120. Needs to be storm proof but not necesserally warm as I can wear layers underneath. Cheers Quote Link to post
moxy 617
I have had a couple of seeland keeper jackets from soapy off here. Warm, waterproof and comfy, However they do take some pasty! I work outdoors and im in these coats everyday, shooting, ferreting moleing or just out with the mutts( unless its 27 degrees and cracking the flags!!). Once pissed wet through they dry fairly quick but im yet to have wet shoulders, absolute winners. Seeland thornhill is the newer version of the keeper jacket and well worth a look. Keep your eyes out for what soapy has on offer, his prices are good (up to 50% cheaper than the rrp), prompt delivery and the real deal. Theres a start, everybody will have their own opinion, horses for courses and that but i have tried and tested these, not just wearing on the occasion like a weekend worrior Quote Link to post
Waz 4,252
Got a thornhill of Soapy recently, not been out in bad weather in it yet, so cant comment on the jacket aprt from 'I like it'. But the service from Soapy was 100% and would recommend the fella. Quote Link to post
