Might be a daft question but still would like to ask.

Might be having a weekend trip soon ferreting, how do you keep your ferrets while your away?

Your advice would be helpful

Ive got a big cage i keep them in and just use there carrying boxes when im working them and feed and water them in the big cage

If you are only taking a couple of ferrets with you then I would use a large cat carrier, you can also put a water bottle on the front as well.

I built a small cage that fits in the back of my jeep. I cant remember where i saw the idea (it might have been on here) but i wanted a way where i could take quite a few ferrets out and rotate them, thus giving them a warm place where they could eat and sleep. The ferrets i wanted to work could then be taken out and put in the ferret box and used. It meant that i wasnt carrying 2 or 3 ferret boxes with me and it could give the ferrets id worked somewhere decent to rest in.
