best of luck mate, but if they had been repeatedly kicking my dog i'd be up for ABH

How many times have people posted on here about their dogs being attacked by 'fat chav staffs' while out on leads etc. Most of the replies state they'd have kicked f**k out of the dog that ran up off

yeah that sounds like great advice very responsible you complete numpty, and to thing i had a post removed the other day for having a light hearted joke and the mods leave this crap up is a joke

without witnesses its their word against yours about showing remorse, egging the dog on etc etc (he says, she says, its all HEARSAY)if theyre saying its a staffy/staffy cross then tell your solicitor that theres obviously another dog involved in the dispute and that its nothing to do with you as your dog doesnt look anything like a staffy and that you saw the incident and your dog didnt bite anyone.if a dog bit someone then it was another dog and not owened by you as its obvious that theres some problem about the dogs identity.any decent brief will drive a coach and horses through this man/womans story.dont worry, i know its easy to say and you will be worried.its a pity you didnt post this when it first happened as id have advised you to say nothing to the police in an interview only that you are reserving your defence.when they read out that caution to you saying that 'anything you say, can, and will be used in evidence against you' they mean it!so if you dont say anything they cant use anything!advice to anyone in a situation like this in the future.dont say anything .....you dont have to.without your statement they have only one persons word against you and in court thats nothing without witness statements.when you speak they have two persons word against you.and one of them is you

It would be them 2 against me, im trying to get the other witnesses sorted, but some want no part in it.

And are denying been there.

All i admitted to was the dog been off the lead, and going for their dog, and told the police that they repeatedy kicked the dog.

They say i egged the dog on, which is a load of shit.

and i did shout at him to stop, when he was kicking her, i was out of order for that, but who wouldnt be, seeing their dog kicked to ribbons.

When you go the vets, ask them to examine for any injuries. If the dog is scared and cowering when the vet examines, ask him to document this along with the fact that even though your dog was scared, it didn't retaliate.

Again, stick to the truth and the facts, that is all the court is interested in. It irritates them if they're inbetween a battle of ''he said, she said'' and it's all irrelevant to the actions that have occured.

The 'victim' is doing a fine job with inconsistencies because they're lying. It'll be apparent to everyone. He can say the dog was a 2 ton savage rottweiler and it bit his head clean off but the fact is he's got a small scratch and the dog is a small terrier that's been assaulted.

Don't concern yourself about what you did after the event. You took your dog and walked away, you've told us all why which is because you just wanted to get away from the situation. Typical behaviour of someone who is shocked.

When you recovered yourself, you thoughfully went to the person to apologise about the whole saga. Realistically, you couldn't of behaved any better, especially when your own dog had been beaten by 2 individuals.

ye your solicitor will hammer them for the inconsistencies and any doubt will make the case dissolve and fall apart, no judge will take the word of someone who is proven in court to be lying or incorrect.Dont let yourself seem angry or upset over the kicking as this makes you seem to have a temper and they will use that against you even to the point of sayin you hit your own dog hence the cowering etc.Just keep cool and to the point and only talk about the facts. The judge will soon see these chancers for what they are.

it doesnt matter whether theres one person or two against you in fact two is better as they wont usually have their stories right down to the last word and a good brief knows this and will set out to show the inconsistencies in their evidence.

you were perfectly within your rights shouting at him to stop beating your dog. a lot of people wouldnt have just shouted........ ;)

to encourage a dog to attack is a more serious crime (whether to a dog or human)more so than anything else thats happened, so be careful of this and make sure you deny it strenuously.the guy probably knows this as the police will have pointed it out to him when questioning him so hes decided to go for the jugular and say you set the dog on his dog, just in case you get off with everything else hes said(hes using the belt and braces technique)he'll trip himself up in court, liars usually do, and a good brief will get him confused and altering his story

get someone to go in his shop and spill liquid on the floor then you head in go flat for the spill and do a good fall lie there and ask for an ambulance. If he thinks he will get much of you it will be very little compared to what you get.
