Guest WEE WEE PANTS
Zap, i didnt give my number there and then, i just got the dog and left, to leave the situation asap. but the following thursday, after a few attempts to contact him at his shop before that, i was able to speak to him. This is when i shook his hand, and apologised once again, even though he was been funny. He was only bothered that his girlfriends dog was /had been through an awful ordeal. He emphasised that in the shop as well.

rikjd 8
You showed remorse and was genuinely apologetic, so the judge will probably see that in court and make sure you mention them booting your dog as that is unacceptable no matter how bad the fight was, you say he works in a shop, is it a small local shop? If so let everyone know he kicked ten bells outta your dog and then had the cheek to take you to court over a scratch gained in the incident. Hit him where it hurts thats what hes tryin to do to you!!
Guest WEE WEE PANTS
The other dog was a mixed breed, and their other dog was Lurcher of some type. Its a small local shop mate. My dog was on a lead, but i had only just let her off minutes ago, i know that means nothing.
Guest WEE WEE PANTS
The dog didnt seem agressive.
chimp 299
get the refrences , is it crown or magistrates? if crown address the jury and dont have an attitude , im sure your dog slipped her collar didnt she ? mention your dog had been kicked several times and also she was in season, remember to tell the courts the size of your dog is quite small compaired to theres and was acting the tart as she was in season. tell them kicking a patt was extreme measures and a good dog owner should of just let go of the lead until you got there to retrieve the dog the prosicution will have pictures of the scratch on his foot so be prepared for that and if it it was right foot you can play the 'it happened while kicking your dog' if you lose which you probably will , it maybe be worth taking action against them as you planned to breed from her but the stress of being booted and she didnt take. f**k em turn it around on them Edited October 7, 2010 by chimp

wippydoo 12
i had a similar thing happen a few weeks ago. the police said to me its their word against yours and theyre not going to admit to anything so thats that!ie no witnesses, without witnesses it all boils down to one persons word against anothers.the CPS wont usually proceed in cases like this as they need to have a high percentage of winning in order to take a case to court.told me to go away and forget about it.im not sure if youve had a formal interview with the police but if you havent dont admit to anything and if you like you can refuse to answer any question in which case theyre completely fekked as they dont even have a statement from you about what happened. (sorry just realised you must have had this as its a summons,my fault for not reading all the posts!)tell them youre reserving your defence ie not telling them bugger all wild whippies has given you excellent advice .....id follow it Edited October 7, 2010 by wippydoo
rebel2009 20
Exactley same happened to my mate an he went to court they gave him a 5year ban from keeping dogs an a £620 fine , they wanted to distroy the dogs aswell because of sum1 claimed it bite them it is a agravated offence ! Just a bit of advise to you would be to move your dogs [bANNED TEXT] you go to court ;-)
match 0
your go to court its not a trial, your confirm your name adress ect. your listen to the story the judges will whisper between themselves and then serve you with a court order to keep your dog under control in a public place. next day a copper will come round with the order and give it to you. thats it nothing else happens. thats what happened to me, in EXACTLY the same circumstances. Guest WEE WEE PANTS
Ive seen a solicitor, and been in touch with someone who deals with dangerous dog offences(Every week.) , and he said it isnt worth him helping at court, as yes she was off the lead, and out of control, but its isolated, and if its a scratch, if the dog had latched on then there would be more teeth marks that would need immediate attention. Now their staements say that i showed no remorse, but all i wanted was away out of the situation. The police have seen the dog, even stroked her, i will be getting a vets letter to say that she is sound in temperement. Im also getting character references off local councellor, and a health and safety trainer for the NHS. It looks like they just want some compen. out of me. Also got 3 statements to come off other witnesses as well.
Guest WEE WEE PANTS
Also getting neighbours statements of how friendly the dog is.
Guest WEE WEE PANTS
Now they are saying that i never tried to get the dog on the lead, and wasnt bothered, but all i wanted was to leave the situation as soon as possible. Apparently i shouted thats what these dogs do, they are born to kill. No who the f**k in their right mind would say that? As i say, i went to his shop on a number of occasions to apologise, and then shook his hand, and left my number.
