CarraghsGem 92 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 anyone have any really good campfire recipes? ie pot bread etc... stuff that will keep you going out in the wilds.... thinking of taking a camping holiday out on a remote island next time ive a few days off, fishing and hunting, i'll be bringing food but hope i can hunt enough to eat as well. blacktabs 3 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) learn to make chappatis and a good curry all you need carry is dried onions and tomatoes and spices you can catch the rest you cant beat it on open fire mind you can cook most things out and with a bit of imagination cook them well its the heat youve got to watch let the fire burn through and cook on the embers and you not go far wrong atb.
