budharley 945
well i decided to have my first ferreting trip this morning i only work 4 day week now, with little lad being disabled i got wednesday off for his appointments well his speech therapy was at 1 so thought id have a couple of hours out at a local place . This place is only small about 3 acre of rough with a small patch of trees its got 5 or 6 small warrens 5 or so holes and 1 20 or so hole warren theres then a very large wood full of rabbits but i dont have permission there. So off i went with my two jills and bag of nets you have to acces this place through a ginnel at bottom of an industrial estate well when i got there i walked down the ginnel and i was met by 2 new houses and a couple being built and the whole place flat and a new road coming in from a nearby housing estate with machines flattening oldbuildings in the big wood so i pressume thats next 4 houses this place always held a good number of rabbits i was a bit peed off i had 15 on 1 visit and 9 on another but lost 3 on that visit last season. well i didnt have time to go driving to my other permission so i was well mad as this was local and handy . The one 8,479
We got a lot of that over here thousands of houses built all round my town because folk across the water couldn't afford the price of living there but what i found was that we where getting asked to remove the rabbits from gardens or there was a lot of rabbits squashed into what little green belt was left and you could pick up a few easy enough Quote Link to post
