twosey 0
Thanks for that Paddy, theres wheat it in it anyway so no good to me. Am getting a pup on the weekend and am looking into affordable quality feeds for my 3 dogs. My eldest has always been on dr john platinum and thrives, but is not a lurcher so hasn't really needed high energy food. My lurcher boy has had digestive issues and we found he is wheat intolerant so have had to play around with his food to find one thats ideal. he's currently on harringtons which suits him really well, although not high protein/fat like these high energy foods are. All other foods we have tried have made him stink (they live in the house so an issue that we worry about) . My problem Is now with a pup, obviously I've got to feed a high energy food but that would mean 3 different types of food and I got nowhere to store even more sacks of the stuff So my thinking was to try and find a food that would complement both the puppy and my 2 year old lurcher, but it has to be wheat free and affordable. Does anyone have any ideas. How much is the Gain record breaker? Also whereabouts in south wales is there to source these greyhound foods?
twosey 0
Hmmm, been there done that and although they were fab on it, I just did not find it at all conveinient. Having to order in massive amounts of food at once for it to be economical, then having to remember to get the dog food out the night before to defrost for the next day, having once per month deliveries and then missing the cut off for ordering and so couldn't get another order in for another month. I might look into it again and try and source my meats locally for a decent price, and don't have to run a huge freezer in my garage either. but in the meanwhile will try and find a decent complete. does anybody do the barf around caerphilly/cardiff and if so whereabouts do you source your feed?
