jonn 0 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 My Name is Jonathan i am 15 years old i live on my parents farm in devon and my Lurcher Misty has just had our first litter of puppies, shes a Hancock Bred Merle Lurcher and ive put her to a coursing whippet. This is the first litter ive ever had and i would like some advice on rearing them, selling them and how to decide on which one to keep. Ive got homes for a few of the pups but i just cant decide which one to keep how do you lot decide. Quote Link to post

Put them in the for sale section on this site and just hope they get good home. The mother do most off the rearing but 6 weeks give them a good worming out and flea them at six weeks start them on some cooked beef tell help the bitch out all the best with the litter kid Quote Link to post

Any more advice from anyone else would be useful thanks! hi john welcome ,your pups will need worming at 4,6,8,and 12 weeks use 10 per cent panacur it tells you on bottel how much to give,you should start them on food from 5 weeks i use beta puppy soaked in water by the time they are 7 weeks they should be away from mum fulltime but just ween them slowly , it wouldnt hurt to worm mum at 4 weeks with panacur as well,as for which one to keep just pick the one you like the best,good luck 1 Quote Link to post
