Whitby_Sam 4
I have a BSA Meteor .22 that's seen better days. The barrel wobbles a bit and it needs new seals. I like the gun and I like the feel of it but I'm toying with the idea of getting a cheap full power outfit, gun/silencer/scope to replace it. This would be 12 ft/lb and hopefully a bit better for my requirements (rabbits and pigeons etc) Can anyone recommend anything? I don't really want to spend more than £150 so I'm looking at Hatsan, SPK(?) etc. I want full power and a scope, silencer would be desirable... Would I be better going for a second hand gun? stealthy1 3,964
At that money your looking at a good second hand springer, have a look at some models you like, then put up a post on your choices, then the lads and lasses will let you know what they think Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
I've a .22 BSA Lighning (gas ram) with a Simmons 1.5-5x32 scope for sale at £150...... Quote Link to post

Nah, he said he wanted a full power outfit! I have a gas ram lightning too, the classic version, and I quite like it, though some people denigrate it! There are some damn good second hand springers out there, far better guns than what you'd get for that money brand new! Quote Link to post
gazandjen 54
Thats a good price for a gas ram lightining Very good value for money. I would take that over any new rifle at £150. Also, you can pic up a tx200 around £180 - £200 Edited October 4, 2010 by gazandjen 1 Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Looks likea nice gun. Is it moderated? Yup. It's got the standard BSA mod that's not great TBH but it's better than nothing... Quote Link to post
