can a dog kill a squirrel

I'm not sure of the law when it comes to killing grey squirrels, so can anyone tell me is it illegal to let your dog catch and kill a squirrel? thanks.

As others have said, its illegal. Accidents you cannot avoid, Squirrels are not quick across the ground, we have had several accidents here.

to me it sounds ludicrous that i can legally go out ratting and rabbiting ,but not kill a squizz with a dog , whats the difference ? personally i havent heard its illegal , so in my head its legal
