jam1 8 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Share Posted October 3, 2010 well lets just say [bANNED TEXT] a fuooking wash out we set off at 6 an it was just a light shower, got to the land nets down, then heavens opend it was horrible everything was soaked a bunny hit the net got my hob out an wraped up couldnt cope any more. on way back to the van i walked edge of the field with my whippet beddi, bunny bounces up he give it a good run untill it ran under some wire fencin an dog hit it, he bounced back three foot but he just shook it off an he ok thank god lol Quote Link to post

dillan 19 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Share Posted October 3, 2010 Typical english weather, got up myself at 6am, dry as a bone when I boxed the ferrets, made the one hour journey and it just lashed it down continuous, didnt even make it out of the car, went home and back to bed, hope its better weather next week. pikeypaul 11 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 Come on lads its only a bit of water.I was out with THE GRIFF and my GRANDSON on the yorkshire moors, just when the adults wanted to come home the lad said its only rain im not bothered if i get wet.So off we trecked to another set, got the nets set, turned around too see the biggest blackest cloud ever coming our way and boy did it let us have it, boots filled with rain water undies soaked. Then to top it all THE GRIFF'S missus phoned and said we must be f@#%£*g mad. WHAT DO YOU THINK LADS but we had a good laugh about it on way home. Quote Link to post

The one 8,482 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 Worst i had was we had just treked 1000 feet up a hill turned round and the sky was black it started snowing ,it was a complete white out with in minutes .we treked back down the hill 30 minutes drive home we and the gear were wet threw and we hadn't even set a net Quote Link to post
