nicjhas 2
if its the MK3M mate, take the collar from the receiver & give it a turn, it will unscrew in two parts, i would also change the batteries to be on the safe side Quote Link to post
jarv5116 57
Na its differnt from that one it is roundish? must be mk3m does this need batteries and does it just unscrew? it was working fine but its not picking the collar upanymore? any ideas? Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,608
It sounds like its the mk3m, the M stands for magnetic I think as theres a magnetic switch inside the collar which is turned on and off using a little magnet thing or the thinner end of the receiver swiped across it. Sounds like your battery has run out in the collar if you didn't know it could be turned on and off mate. Quote Link to post

comanche 3,110
thats great help thanks mate Always take the batteries out after use just in case things have got a bit damp in there which could cause leakage of power or corrosion. Always use decent watch batteries not the zinc-air ones designed for hearing aids as the latter don't last- often just die without warning . And for optimum battery life don't touch the ends as it can cause a power leakage . Watchmakers use little plastic tweezers. Edited October 4, 2010 by comanche Quote Link to post
