DIDO.1 22,844
Cracks me up to hear keepers pulling themselves off over pics of dead foxes lay next to their rifles thinking they are expert vermin controllers while their beats are covered in crows and stoats.

gonetoearth 5,144
a keepers job is to present game for the person or persons who pay his wages to go out for a couple of hours lampiing and kill a couple of fox after a days work from dawn till dusk , or go and dig for a couple of hours, to most young keepers these days the latter would be to much like hard work , i still know keepers who own terriers and digg , not all modern keepers are versed in terrier work and would know trust worthy terrier men , the rifle and lamp are the easy option , , rifles have allways been used and allways will , in these times of the hunting act and terrier work in the protection of game its up to terrier lads to gain the the trust of keepers and the terrier work is there its a matter of building bridges .

Molie1337 35
I think alot of people get confused between 'control' and 'eradication' I also think that alot of dog lads would be pleased enough to see a fox get away after a good course, or see one bolted to run another day! Most of the rifle lads on here could swop their gun for a camera and still be just as happy....
