Guest JohnGalway
I'm thinking of investing in shooting gloves because my fingers almost dropped off! YES!!! As I came up my track, about 15:00 this afters, John, I thought to myself; " F*ck this! This is find some gloves weather! " I managed to get a lift into town, within minutes, and soon found the temprature far more tolerable. But out here, on the open Bog / Tundra? Definately getting bloody uncomfortable! Wonder how long it'll all go on for? Was tempted to cut the index finger off my thinsulate glove but might as well get a proper pair and not ruin the only ones I have Besides the obvious cold and bit of fog (not badly afftected here) I like this weather, I can do a bit in it whereas in the gales and floods I couldn't shoot or do any work, long may it last Quote Link to post

wife 1
its a pain,a pic i took today from the top of cwmbran mountain, somewhere under all that fog is cwmbran towncentre and the rest of cwmbran ,if the fog was not there you can also see newport transporter bridge and also alot of usk,for those of you that know cwmbran the bit with the bit of smoke just rising above the fog is where the old rechem plant is and by the ashbridge, think it is now called knauf insulation the factory which pushes the smoke out Edited December 20, 2006 by wife Quote Link to post

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Yeppers! Clear day over Leitrim too! I could see where I was and even saw the sun! Looking good for a more 'normal' night now too. I wonder if it's lifted? (Fingers crossed!) Now though, I suppose, it'll just get wet again  Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Fine here at the moment, but the last couple of days or so, was very thick and flaming ICE cold. Seen the sun today, forgot what it looked like. Frank. Quote Link to post
