CHEERS GARRICK hi buddy no i cant say they have! the barrel band is there for a reason,you start taking it off and you may have problems with zero! also you sling stud too! also if ya drop it, which dose happen then you are more likely to bend ya barrel.do the sensible thing and leave it alone!! while spoil something that is already working fine! regards davy Quote Link to post
Mirk 0 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 I know a few people that do remove the barrel band.The stock can/will swell and contract depending on weather conditions and alter your zero.By removing the band or the o ring this will prevent this happening. The barrel is 16mm dia and does not need the extra support. Try it out and check your grouping. Quote Link to post
