beddyxwhippet on hares

is a beddy whippet capable of doing hares on the lamp or daytime single handed, consistantly?? i was just wondering as my beddy/whippet seems to have the speed and the turning but only being young hasnt quite got the changeing gears thing down, so i was just wondering if a beddy whippet would do long ears. not saying thats what im gonna do :thumbs:

ive taken loads of hares with 19" beddy/whippets on the lamp and seen them take hares in the day.

like deano7 said, its takes a good dog to catch a fully fit healthy hare in daytime and on good ground and fair start not on top of it, lamping of hares was banned along time ago cos it wasnt classed as fair game!!!!
