samstorm 34
is a beddy whippet capable of doing hares on the lamp or daytime single handed, consistantly?? i was just wondering as my beddy/whippet seems to have the speed and the turning but only being young hasnt quite got the changeing gears thing down, so i was just wondering if a beddy whippet would do long ears. not saying thats what im gonna do Quote Link to post

bunnys 1,228
best keep the dog for what it was bred for rabbs small vermin etc these dogs mature quickly and can be easily overmatched when still relatively young they do and can catch on occasions long ears usually through hunting ability and quickness a dog being nippy and sharp his not the same as a dog with top cruising speed with hte ability to change gears and stride when running long ears hope this his helpfull Quote Link to post
samstorm 34
the dog works well with another dog, i was just wondering single handed, like i said about changing gears, how long before dogs start to do this, i noticed last night he started to a little bit, but i meen consistantly when needed to??
