deanflute 550
Just wondering if these batteries would be any good for running a lightforce 140 lamp? If so for how long? I've spotted a few lying around at work and I'm going to rehome them if suitable Cheers Dean Quote Link to post

graham4877 1,181
It will do the job fine mate .. but after every use charge it back up ...IE as soon as you get in! Never leave the battery flat or half charged.... what bulb do you have in the lance 75watt or 50watt? if its the bulb from new its the 75watt. The 75watt bulb will use 6ah so your 24ah battery will last for 4 hours. so you ca switch the lamp on and leave it one for a full 4hours. The 50watt bulb will use 4ah so your 24ah battery will last for 6 hours solid Quote Link to post

deanflute 550
Yes i was thinking of just dropping it in a rucksack or something along those lines, I don't do too much lamping to be honest but with a bigger and better battery i may stay out longer! There's some Yukon ones and some Samsung ones, All the same power Thanks for the advice Quote Link to post
