getting my gun back!!

hi all, my gun is going to be ready tomorow so he said so with a bit of look i will be able to have my first shot with my s410, iv got a twink silencer waiting to go on it and 310 diferent pellets to put thought it, realy carnt wait to get it back. i will keep you all updated on that i think about it.

The AA's are very easy to work on Andy

 

If I remember it was a blown cylinder ?

 

Davy got a replacement cylinder from erm.... A&M custom (I think) he even put up a couple of vids on how to change them. Aparently they are quality smiths that get thing done quickly and at a very reasonable price

I noticed the other day that my air cylinder is rated to 300, despite the manual saying its dangerous to fill above 200 bar.

jeeze wouldnt trust that man to build me a wall from stickle bricks never mind lego.after the shamal episode an a few other horror stories i have heard. bet its gonna cost a fortune if an when he gets it back tops would be a fiver for the bits

no it dose need a cylinder mate because it pulled all the threads owt of the end, tbh if it dose cost me £150 i woulnt be botherd coz i only payed £130 for the lot so i will still of got a bargin at that price i think. im going to give him a ring at half ten to i will let you no what he has to say. yes i have seen them videos he put up very handy just wish he put them up the week before. but oh well its getting done now.

Same as always happens at that shop Bill

 

Customer: How much to fix this,

 

Shop: Erm, oooooooh not too sure, but it'll be about xx and 50p

 

Customer: When can you have it fixed?

 

Shop: A couple of days depending if we can get the parts for it quickly.

 

A week later

 

Customer: Hi it's xxxxx just ringing to see if my guns ready?

 

shop: Actually we've had problems getting the parts, but we've got them now and the gun is on the bench being worked on.

 

Customer: How long?

 

Shop: Couple of days it'll be ready.

 

couple of days pass

 

Customer: Hi there, just wondering if I can call and collect my gun?

 

Shop: Erm..... we've hit a bit of a problem, the parts dont fit and were having to send them back before we get the correct parts

 

This process will repeat until either P or D or the guy hidden in the back gets sick of hearing about this gun and decides to shut the customer up by actually doing the repair and then charging EXTRA or what's more likely from the pople I know of who have used this 'GunSmith's' the customer turns up and demands his gun back so they can take it elsewhere Like RiffRaff said 18months and his gun hadn't been touched!

 

I would rather send my guns to anywhere else than this shop.

What a crock of S***.

 

You would think in the current financial climate, they would be bending over backwards to turn out good work and service.

 

Go and pick your Rifle up Andy.....sod them mate, take it some where else buddy.

 

Or matbe a member close by could help you out with the repairs ??

I' agree Bill.

The parts are easily obtainable and the Job is reletively straight forward to do Both Dillan and I are close enough to help out and if I needed help, then RiffRaff is only a phone call away

 

I'm also sure that if any parts were "Hard to find" or to be delivered to an RFD only for a Face to Face sale, then both Riff and I have one VERY close at hand especially on a thursday evening
