rob84 112
I read this post last wk sometime, f**k me whats all the fuss about? the dog killed something that it shouldnt have and there is only one to sort it out. i cud never take out a dog that i couldnt trust, what happens when its out of sight? do you call it back? It would happen again and next take it would probalily take another dog with it and you would have to end up shooting the 2. If any farmer around our parts knew that you kept a dog that killed sheep and it hadnt being rid of that would be the end of hunting on his ground. And somewone said give it 2 a pet home??? and working dog 2or3 season working being treated and kept as a pet is more cruell and shooting it. shut up man ...another clown that cant teach dogs right from wrong of course you teach them right from wrong when pups, but what do you do when they kill something that they no they shudnt? ffs Quote Link to post

Saluqihounds 150
What a throwaway society we live in, not even mans best friend is sacred! From what I have read the bitch simply did not recognise the dark coloured ewe to be the same as the rest of the white ones and therefore off limits. I've had many an adult dog show interest in stock and everyone of them was made 100% steady to them and 2 of them were pure Salukis dispite the reputation they have for being stock worriers. The difference with me is a dog once it comes to me is here for life and no matter what problems may arise I'll never quit on a dog as nothing is insurmountable. Quote Link to post

TITTT!!!! retired dogs are retired dogs for a good reason you Muppet they have done their work without 'misbehaving' and a nice quiet pet home where they do not need such physical activity would suite. But thats not what we are on about here. What ime pointing out is that for a 3 year old working dog that’s used to hard work day in day out just to be passed on as pet, well the idea is ridiculous.
