andycanman 0
Ye nice shooting..i home load my own ammo and have got a very deadly load now in 22/250 topped with a 55 grain v-max ballistic tip...this is the exit hole on a chicken rustler the other night. sorry no picture says file to big..oh well was a nice picture.. Very nice Andy What load and powder are you using and whats your rifle setup ? load is a 55 grain v-max over 41 grains h380 which is safe in my 22/250 Tika T3 with harris swivel bipod,T8 moderator and topped with a simmons 3.5-10x50 super night view scope. Thats quite a punchy little load.... that must be pushing 4000ft/sec and right upto the max pressure? I have been using 36.1gr of N140 with 52gr A-max which seem to be doing alright but I am going to try some 55gr Nosler Ballistic tips on my next batch or reloads. Ye not far off the 4000fps if the reloading figures are right, ye about max pressure i would not push them any faster the bolt is not sticky when i eject the brass and i fired hundreds so no worrys there..i used to reload nosler b/t and they are on par with the v-max for being accurate and stopping every thing in its tracks but i found the v-max to be that bit more distructive...i just into the red mist thing... .
