Terrier rescue...

Recommended Posts

Had to rescue a young terrier of my mates the other day. was 17 foot and took us 7 hours of constant digging. Dog went in at half one and we got through to it at half eight. The dog was wedged in tight and couldnt move. A successful resuce and words cannot describe how tough a dig this was for just the two of us. It was a nightmare in the total darkness... the dog was glad to see us...lol  We shovelled back , then threw onto a ledge then down the bank :o:drink:

My arms still aching. Terrier was Ok except a bit stiff. I wish i could have got a better piccy, but my lense wouldnt go wide enough to get it all in. There was no sign of anything in front of the dog. he was just stuck tight. If we hadnt have had the B+F i bet we wouldnt have found the dog. :icon_eek::hmm:

Now that is a hole  ........respect to you and your pal JD for making the effort for the dog...........I take it you wont be letting it loose in that area again.........not this year anyway ;)

Could the dog move at all mate? and will the B&F show that it is moving very short distances?
