dare 1,103
ok maybe some will find it sad but im some what a huge bear grylls fan. Love the fact he can be put places and know what to do. My question is would others be able to do the same? I mean would others on here be able to use their dogs to and traps to catch food? I guess im becoming sad as i get older but id love to find a place where you could actually try to live outside building own shelter and finding fresh water ect...i guess living in london has got to me lol

TOMO 26,402
Some lads might be able to, i would like to think i could no probs, but that would proberly be in this country or europe. getting droped in a desert, or jungle, might be a diffrent story in fact i would say verfy few on here would be ok in that situation, unless they have had army training. trapperman 474
i think ray mears is better as hes more real, i mean if your trying to survive on your own in the wilderness the last thing you should be doing is trying to jump across a fast flowing river in the rocky`st place or diving off high ledges or eating shit "quite literily", if you try and survive by taking the risks bear grylls does you would`nt last long, his show is just that a show and i dont think he was ever in the special forces either, i do watch it sometimes but to be honest the guys just a twat. He is a bit of a twat but as a 'tv programme' then its ok. I always laugh when he does one of these daring stunts and he goes on how 'one slip and he is dead' and a boy does it along side him with a great big f*****g camera on his back. BIG_SLIM 17
I prefer ray mears to bear grylls. I've met ray mears before he is a really nice down to earth fella. His instructors on the other hand some of them need to pull their noses out their arseholes.
