fox's shot and dumped

Recommended Posts

ffs, they dramatise everything, dum dums wouldve blown a hole right through the fox, so were the f**k they got the idea in the earlier paper that they couldve been poisoned i dont know......

theyve got nothing.... theres no cruelty if the fox was dispatched swiftly.

dum dums are bullets that have either had the tip cut off or a x cut onto the tip of the bullet, they explode on impact. if you got shot with one of those you wouldnt be around to talk about it.

I thought dum dum bullets was just a catch all phrase for an expanding round? In any case, there is nothing illegal about shooting an animal with an expanding round, indeed it is required under the deer laws. Just a case of a slow news day and some fox carcasses inappropriately disposed of. Media are parasites who would sell their mothers if it meant a few more column inches.

I don,t understand how they would be worse than say a 180gr ballistic tip from my 300 rum cause I am sure I wouldn't want to be hit by one of those, I guess it is just to hype up the story by using contentious language

all-expanding is a better description than exploding!

take a look at a dum-dum next time you get a chance, only dum-dums ive seen have tip cut off, but my dad used to make his own when he was in the army using the x method,

played around with a mates 9mm using dum dums (few years back, in another country) blew some awful holes through targets.
