lurcher330 2,301
i have an eight year old collie greyhound my first choice to bring when i go lamping he starting to slow down a bit but he is still catching plenty of game i think i will still get 2 or 3 more seasons from him and then a few more ferreting and bushing with the terriers but i'd like to know the average age most people will stop lamping and coursing their lurchers i reckon he would die younger if i stoped working him Edited September 28, 2010 by lurcher330 Quote Link to post
Guest deerhound hunter
as long as can still run without any pain, what i have done with my dogs have been young is give them pure horse codliver oil for their bones ,if it was to give a least 1 season more out of my dogs it will have worth while Quote Link to post
