Thats not so hot = we found a property with just shy of 200 acres of mixed land, forest, moorland and pasture, with 2.5 miles of coastline, three off shore islands, two lochs, both with trout, smugglers croft and main house. Land had a decent sized herd of red deer as a bonus. all for 110,000.

Best place to buy land at the moment is in Bulgaria. Its a snip at 2 euro/sq m in some places. I was looking at 6 miles sq of lovely forested land in the middle of the country last year for about £3000! Its a really lovely untouched country out in the sticks and has a wide variety of animals that can be hunted with the correct licenses. Although it does take some hunting to find land at these prices on the internet a good deal can be found.

cheers Callum

That looks nice Carra - if only, hey?

If I were going to spend big money on a place, I think I go home and get something like this

2.2 hectares isnt much, barely enough to keep a horse on, be nice as a holiday home but you'd still cross paths with other hunters, tourists and fishermen not to mention neighbours, be nice as a holiday home though

id rather build a big wall around 70acres and stock it with additional deer and gamebirds and still have fishing as well as the privacy it provides.

tell ya what, if i ever win the lotto, i'll buy it and you can mind the place for the 10-11mths of the year i wouldnt be there!!! :tongue2:
