Little Butch 16
I know a bloke who makes 10 grand a month just literally buying and selling on Ebay! Am thinking of doing the same thing on a much smaller scale.. Just something to make a bit of 'pocket money' I've only got £250 to start with and am not sure what would be the best kind of stuff to sell on there? Anybody done this before or got any Ideas? Little Butch 16
Haha, I don't really know Him as a mate.. Just know who He Is If you know what I mean? He sells Barbeque's, Trampolines that kind of thing but a bit too expensive for me to start off with plus I haven't got the space.. Butch
Fat-Ferret 857
Dont believe everything you hear...Ebay is a lot different than it was few years ago...Theres a good chance your mate is selling £10,000 of stuff...but what he makes from that is a whole different ball game. andyfr1968 772
Whatever you choose, just make sure it's something you or at least someone who can help you knows plenty about. If it was that easy, we'd all be doing it.... Good luck with it, mate.
DogMagic 461
Look at ali baba.com for something to sell. Good quality mobile phones are a seller. Look for say blackberry phones. See what the traders on alibaba are seling thrm for. Then look on ebay and see what peeps are buying them for. On alibaba you will be expected to purchase a minimum order of say 10 at a time. Butch I'd ask the bloke you know.... 10K per month does seem a touch on the excessive side, I recon to make that you would need to think about getting a mini warehouse to store stuff while you sell /process it. For your 250 here is a possibility that a lad I used to work with did when he got laid off and as far as I know has not gone back to work since. Apparently Argos sell goods that have been returned to them that they cannot resell for whatever reason, its sold by auction (have a google it is out there). They come on pallets that consist of loads of different stuff and all bundled together, obviously pallets that contain more expensive items go for more but some do go for around the 200 mark. Stuff can then be sold on separately on eBay I am not saying this will work but may be worth looking into.

Guest jt750
I make a few quid on ebay selling ...its difficult on a small scale and you only need a couple of people leaving negative feedback and you can be out the loop so to speak . You need to get to a wholesaler and look around see what you can sell now with xams coming up. Just remember ebay selling fees and paypal fees are not cheap anymore
