11ozs.....well if that's all you loose....Ill be buying a set of wheels for mine

 

Does that 11ozs include the wieght of the guage you have to buy aswell, because that will add a bit more to the 11ozs if not.

 

Dont think we would gain very much from from trimming the Butt either mate

adi has some nice new cylinders in ally..with guage..and it also extends ur shot count for 120 quid ... and if he gives them the thumbs up they must be worth it

will do bill, but as said before it'll be about a month till i've the ready's for it(turning 40-aagghh!!!) and assuming its gonna take off 3/4 lb then i'll be on it.

 

also thinking about a stock from cs in sheffield, i put one of theirs on my rapid and it was considerably lighter- that might be a better route than carving up the hw stock, just be a little pricey again... but still, if you want summat done right, and youre cack handed like i am when it comes to wood...

How about a HW sporter stock, that would be a good bit lighter.

Or do you want to stick with the thumbhole design?

i'm only kidding bill, i'm gonna get a cs700 skele stock when cash allows mate, i put one on my rapid and it really transformed it into summat special, well, it did for me, and with an alloy cylinder i reckon all my weightlifting woes would be over... i've grown to love thumbholes since getting that one, so i cant see me changing to a sporter, unless i cant get a cs, that is.

 

mind you, i'm starting to sound like a tackle tart here
