Any alternatives to Weihrauch?

Hello,

I've been waiting ages for a HW77 or another Weihrauch underlever to come up for sale (2nd hand) in my area (Kent), but no luck as yet.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions for an alternative I might be able to pick up in the £200 - £250 region.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

The Air Arms TX200 second hand should be in that price range, but i do prefer the HW97k myself. :)

Ive just got a TX200 Hunter Carbine, and its the mutts nutts! I agree it is a tad weighty but for a springer, I personally see that as an advantage. There is a lot less muzzle flip, and I seem to be able to keep a steadier sight picture than on my HW95k. I have been punching some paper over the weekend and have produced some awesome groups (for me anyway)! Im not saying the TX is any better than the HW's, its just one came up at the right price, I brought it and I love it. My only negative is I took it lamping and found It quite hard to load in the dark as I have sausage fingers, and the chamber is some what smaller than on the HW's.

Hi Tree Tree

You could go British with either a Goldstar (10shot) or a Superstar..

As already said, a TX200..

Webley mk3 (though only around 9/10 fpe)

Airsporter (not usually full power either)

German, Original mod50..
