Benny K 0
Hello all, I am currently doing alot of reading on coursing and lamping. My friend works his ferrets for various land owners, which gives me the perfect oppertunity to do something i've always wanted to do which is lamping! His uncle is a lurcherman and I haven't had the chance to meet him yet but I would like to get as much input as possible. Obviously as a complete novice I want to make as little mistakes as possible! What is a recommended lamping dog, and can the bull lurcher be one of them...taking into account the problem of bumping into foxs etc? Thanks Ben Edited September 26, 2010 by Benny K

Thanks Ben hi there , welcome to the forum you can only work your dogs on rabbits and rats as everything else is banned now mate , but if your mate goes ferreting maybe you would be better with a beddy x whippet or a colliex whippet , no need for a big dog 23 24 tts is plenty big enough for bunnys , have a good read round the lurcher section , dont be afraid to ask and dont take things to heart as some members on here are only here to cause trouble and row . hope this helps , atb Fezz
