mattydski 560
Something constructive to think about... I have the following ingredients..... Roquefort cheese. Chicken breast Streaky bacon Pastry New potatoes white wine Tomatoes, nice and ripe, still in the green house Fresh herbs Garden sweet baby carrots, still in the ground. Mushrooms. All the normal stuff you would expect a half capable cook to have (olive oil, past, rice bla..blah blah) You do not have to use all the ingredients... You can use stuff you would expect me to have...... Who can come up with the best recipe I'll cook it and post photos of the winners recipe Edited September 26, 2010 by mattydski

MuttleMcTuttle 21
I'd make a pie with the chicken, bacon & mushrooms and a white wine & herb sauce & serve it with the new tatties and carrots. I'm not a fan of mouldy cheese so I'll just eat an apple and drink the left-over wine while you serve up the roquefort with the pears

mattydski 560
Well..................after much due consideration.... I poached the chicken in White wine, fresh stock, garlic, lemon juice and a bay leaf. The poaching liquor was then reduced with the addition of rape oil, White wine vinegar and touch of Corn flour, and touch more lemon juice and a little sugar. I cooked the new potatoes and let them cool. They were then reheated in the oven coated with Rape seed oil and with Roquefort cheese. I steamed some broccoli as a plate filler. It was ............................................... Exceptional ......of course
