hi lads

well ive been off sick for a couple of weeks now im back and wor kid has developed f**k me its wet syndrome....

 

yesterday ok wind were about 30mph BUT tonight 10-15 if that ... and he says "giving it a miss" the puff so am off out on my own write up later chaps

F**k wading about in mud and getting p*ss wet through, but gale force winds I'm up for, you can always find somewere on the lee side, which the rabbits normally find too

NO!!!! it would not!

you have to get out in all conditions to know where ya quarry is,and going too!

and also what conditions they like too! and i can honestly say!!!! that i have been out in all of them

from minus 6 to the hottest day recorded this year,and in lashing of rain ,and in snow,fog not that productive though! because ya cant see em lol very difficult conditions to shoot in,unless there close!

 

so you really need to get him oot like!

The weather doesnt bother me, skin is waterproof!

After being out in wet weather my stock is always removed once back home so the stock and action can be dried before being re cleaned and oiled

i have found that dirt, when combined with natural body oils will make you waterproof...

 

if youve the time, then get out there!!! im off out in the morning, come hell or high water , its been too damn long lads

 

mind you, one of my tattoo customers is a military surplus dealer, and has furnished yours truely with a german special forces sniper suit(like the standard flecktarn but much much posher and fairly waterproof too!!! )

always found it hard work getting Rabbits in any decent numbers when its pissing down with Rain. I like to get out and about whatever the weather! It might be just me but the weather certainly has a bearing on how productive I'm going to be.....

her indoors is always saying my "hairs a mess" anyway so a bit of wind and rain isnt going change things much! also its not always possible to go out when the weathers good. sometimes i just have to go when i can whatever the weathers doing. if its real bad we try get some indoor rat or ferral shooting or lamp/shoot from a landy!

 

i have had some great days when the weathers pish!

 

GET HIM OUT THERE!!!!

I've got to go with the general mood! Time constraints mean I get out when I can, meaning I'll go out in any weather apart from fog.
