lashing down

Hello everyone, organised with my mate to have a trip to my permission last night. we planned it over a week ago so when the night came a bit of rain wasnt going to put us off. or a bit of thunder and lightning  by the time i had finished work and picked my mate up the rain had settled to 1 of those fine drizzles and the wind had died down. an hours drive to the farm then got our rifles out of their slips, s410k for me and rapid 7 mk1 for my mate, and attached our lamps. flicked the lamp on in the first field and about 100 wet and worried looking sheep looking back at us, no bunnies. we walked on and got to the top of the small rise and a rabbit sat about 15 yards in front munchin away. my mate missed with his rapid and turned the air blue!! i tried to explain, (after watchin si pittaway's videos) that its possible the pellet passed straight over its head. my new zero point of 25 meters was yet to be tested. got to our next feilds and there were 2 bunnies sat next to the hedge about 40 yards, 1 was black , got down on the fence post and they buggerd off!! me and my mate both agreed it was going to be 1 of those nights :wallbash: same story repeated itself then we got to a wall looked over and about 30 yards away i got my crosshairs on my first shot of the night, hard to judge the distance so a small touch of hold over and squeezed bagging our first and only rabbit, of a wet windy and frustrating night!! got back to the car like drowned ratts with 1 rabbit :( sorry there is no pics but we were drenched and miserable! thanks to si this week for some helpful footage  and thanks to every one for reading, ATB Mick
