dillan 19
After looking for poles for my 100 and 2x50yrd long nets over a period of 6 months Ive finally found some at a reasonable price. I have looked at various materials from canes to plastics and found them unsuitable. I searched the web for manufacturers, tried garden centres, diy shops, camping stores to no avail. I was unwilling to pay £2-£3 each for the ideal fibreglass ones from gamefairs etc. However I had a go again on the web the other day and found that a company supplies them to selected fishing tackle shops, used for strengthening whips and poles or simply used for stakes to hold umberellas down etc. They retail for £1.99 each. After phoning a few shops and a bit of hagling because of the numbers I required the best deal was secured from a shop in Withernsea at £1.50 each, I bought all 35 of them. They are made of solid fibreglass, 1m long with a pointed end and are 10mm thick. Ideal. If you require any then I suggest calling, Quality Solutions on 01964 614615 or email, quality.solutions@hotmail.co.uk Hope this is of use Regards Dillan Quote Link to post
