Best way is to send crossed postal order or check.Anyone can cash a postal order thats not crossed Carraghs gem so id be worrying if its not crossed.You dont need to do anything but provide some id to cash it.I really hate reading this ive bought and sold things on here no problems at all with very decent people.Its a shame to think people will do this but some people cant help themselves.If you have the reciept of the postal order then get post office to check referance number on it gem and they can tell you if its cashed or not

The bank will not give you his details and even if they did what could you do with them.

 

But, they will give them to the Police, I don't care what anyone thinks, he's robbed you plain and simple, don't let this go cold, get yourself to the police station and insist they investigate it, I don't know how old you are and it might help taking a sensible adult with you.

 

Don't let him rip you, accept no excuses, let the police sort it out, if he promises your gear then let the police deliver it lol!

 

It is fraud, he has stolen your hard earned money, do not sit back and think he'll sort it out.

 

DO NOT pass his details on to anyone off here, no matter how well meaning they might be, the people paid to sort this out are the bank and the police.

good advice from SS you will prob have all the messages between you and him,let the police look at them,and if he has promised to send something which he hasnt,then it is fraud.dunno if they will try and fob you off with saying its a civil matter though,but hey start crying they old bill might feel sorry for you lol,as SS said dont let this drop mate and i hope this expierence aint put you off.were not all like him on here, or in the hunting community in general!

Yes strong mate a crossed postal order has to go through a bank account or post office account.like any other cheque but if its uncrossed can be cashed straight away with id.Mate id take this to the police personally give them all you know and any messages of here or e mails etc.Even if you did magically get his details and then try to use them in anyway you could be tracked and charged with fraud take it to bank and the police mate bank wont want much to do with it so push it and they can get their fraud specialist into it they all have a specialised dept for that sort of thing.

good luck lad and good advice off ss nobody likes going to the old bill but matey has had you over the filthy robbig old twat he wants his bollocks cut off for this and likes been said dont let it put you off I have had some good deals off this site off genuine guys just try to buy off the lads that are well known on the site and that you see use it alot. something needs done about this its happening more and more can we not get a reputation system going or a pinned thread were guys can be vouchedfor by outher users or something.
