matt_hooks 188
In this case, pick your offence. Theft, obtaining money by deception, fraud... If he has promised you goods for a certain monetary consideration, you have upheld your end of the bargain, and he has not supplied the goods as promised. Why are people reticent to go to the police? They're there to deal with exactly this sort of thing! You might say that it's only £160, but that's a lot of money to a young lad. Don't take the law into your own hands, or give details to anyone on here who offers to "sort him out". Firstly the chances are they won't actually do anything, and secondly if they ARE stupid enough to confront the bloke and he gets hurt, you are also implicated in it! We pay enough in tax for the police, you need to make them earn their money! Small claims court is no good if you don't have the guys details, name, address to serve papers etc. It might be worth contacting the board owners as they might be able to supply you with at least an email address, maybe the IP address too. I can't imagine them being happy with the way this bloke has behaved. They will certainly provide those details to the police, even if they can't give them to you!
